Og i den første linken synes jeg spesielt det var denne frasen man bør bite
seg fatt i:

  It is this transformation to a regime in which information about your
location is collected *pervasively*,   *silently*, and *cheaply* that we're
worried about.

Jeg er spesielt opptatt av prisen.  Dersom det blir billigere og billigere å
overvåke, så vil nær sagt enhver begrunnelse med selv den minste verdi før
eller senere bli mer verdifull enn kostnadene.  Dette betyr for meg at det
er nødvendig med et sterkt og moralsk, ikke økonomisk, argument mot den
intense overvåkningen som skjer.

Pr. i dag er retten til å ha et privatliv en så uthulet rett at det koster
veldig lite å tråkke på den. Hvis dette ikke endres tror jeg at vi må
forberede oss på en fremtid der total overvåkning og et håp om at dem som
bruker dataene er snille er den lystigste fremtidsvisjon vi må forberede oss
på. Dessverre er kanskje ikke den mest sannsynlige  visjonen :-/
